What the course covers

Theory, manoeuvring on a closed track, riding on the road and preparation for the official tests. The statutory package includes:

  • unlimited theory lessons (at least 30)

  • 5 lessons on an advanced track
  • a lesson plan

Frequently asked questions

The key answers before you choose a motorcycle course.

Is protective gear included?

Mostly, yes. Hire of a helmet, a jacket and trousers in standard sizes is part of the package, so you borrow them from us for the riding sessions. Gloves and sturdy boots you bring yourself from the first riding day. If the standard sizes do not fit you, you may need to bring your own helmet, jacket or trousers, so tell us before your first session.

Can weather change the schedule?

Yes. Riding sessions can be affected by weather and safety conditions. The rescheduling and cost rules are shown before you enrol.

Are the tests available in English?

The test languages follow government rules and can differ by test type, so we check the current rule for your case before you book. See how the process works →
