Is the whole course taught in English?
Yes. The teaching at Frederiksberg, Lyngby and Hillerød is in English. The official tests follow separate language rules, so check those before you enrol. See the intro times →
What does a driving licence cost?

Can I take the tests in English?
The test languages follow the authorities’ rules and can differ by test type. We check the current rule for both tests with you before you enrol. See test-language information →
Can I choose automatic transmission?
Yes. The car package can be taken in a manual car or with code 148 at the same price. With code 148 you take the driving test in an automatic car, but after at least 7 lessons in a manual car you may drive both. Automatic only (code 78) costs 1.000 DKK extra. See the car packages →
What documents do I need?
Usually an application, ID, a photo, a medical certificate and proof of first aid, but your case may differ. See the document checklist →
Can I use a foreign licence in Denmark?
It depends on the issuing country, category, validity and your residence situation. Use the official guidance or contact your municipality. See exchange or regain guidance →

No. We explain how things usually work. The public authorities decide individual cases.
How often are answers updated?
We review them when the rules change. If an answer matters to your decision, ask us to confirm it for your case.
